NSW: Profiteering outrageous in bushfire ravaged areas: Aquilina
SYDNEY, Jan 2 AAP - Businesses profiteering in bushfire-ravaged areas have been targetedby NSW Fair Trading Minister John Aquilina, who has branded their actions "outrageous".
Up until New Year's Eve, 42 complaints had been registered about businesses in theIllawarra and Shoalhaven regions, on the NSW south coast where fires have been raging.
Mr Aquilina said examples of the profiteering included ice being sold at more thantwice the normal price and people being charged to have air put in their tyres.
