Fed: Church rejects 10 year tenures for Pope
A spokesman for the Sydney Archdiocese says an Australian proposal for 10-year papal
tenures won't be taken seriously in the Catholic Church.
The Australian Catholics for Reform have proposed a new constitution for the Catholic
Church which includes limiting papal tenures to 10 years.
