VIC:Cyclist hit by truck in Melbourne
A cyclist has suffered horrific injuries in a possible hit and run in North Melbourne
this afternoon.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was hit by a truck when she was using a pedestrian crossing
on Flemington Road.
Police say the driver of the truck left the scene, but it's possible they didn't realise
they'd hit the woman.
Ambulance Victoria says the woman suffered "horrific injuries" to her abdomen, pelvis
and legs, and has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
